I have been reading Access VBA Programming for Dummies. While it does not go into advanced topics it seems an excellent choice if you are just plunging in to Access VBA. It is well written in a light style but not overly cute like some Dummies books.
There is a new edition of the Plain and Simple series of visual books from Microsoft...
Frye, Curtis (2010) * Microsoft Access 2010 Plain and Simple. Redmond, WA: Microsoft Press. ISBN 978-0-7356-2730-7.
It has been updated for Access 2010 but no longer covers macros. I find this a shortcoming especially since in 2010 more can be done with macros. Nevertheless it is still an excellent and economical choice for one of the basic, visual type books.
